Children's Faith Formation

"Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs" — Matthew 19:14

Our goal at St. Charles is that each child will continue to deepen his or her personal relationship with God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, plus grow in knowledge and understanding of the Church through prayer, an active faith life, faith development, and education.

The material we are using contains scripture-based text that includes the teachings of the Catholic Church, the saints, Mary, feasts, liturgical year, devotions, prayers, and many other Catholic practices. And finally, we are constantly trying to weave the experience of the family with the experience of the community at large so that we may all grow as a family in faith.

Class times/dates are described in the program brochure below. An alternative to the weekly grade-level program, The Family Program is discussed there as well.
