First Reconciliation - commonly known as confession, or the Sacrament of Penance, is open to children who are also preparing to receive their first Holy Communion. The importance of becoming sensitive to right and wrong and making responsible choices begins at an early age.
First Eucharist - commonly called First Holy Communion and celebrates the real presence of Christ in the bread, wine, and gathered community. It marks an important milestone in a child's life: their first opportunity to receive the Body and Blood of Christ. First Holy Communion is the second of the three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism and Confirmation) which complete an individual's membership to the Catholic Community.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Children - Christian Initiation Ministries for Children 7 years of age up to 11 years of age, who have not been baptized and desire initiation into the Catholic Church, can enroll in the Children's Catechumenate. Children will participate in Monday evening Family Focused Sacrament Program (see sacraments above).
