Graphic Designer Role Description 

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to conceptualize visions and ideas to effectively produce digital, web, print, and social media promotional materials. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for taking assigned tasks and creatively executing strategies for use on multiple platforms.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities: 

  • Create high quality church-wide graphic and visuals for digital, web, print, and social media

  • Brand design for events and marketing (posters, slides, banners, brochures, flyers etc.)

  • Work with Communications Team to take design visions and turn them into a reality

  • Offer advice for proper marketing and design choices

Graphic Designer Requirements: 

  • High level of creative thinking and execution

  • Ability to translate ideas and concepts into creative visuals for print and online

  • Can properly and effectively create content for use on multiple formats

  • Understands and is knowledgeable on the graphic standards for print and digital

  • Has a keen eye for the latest trends in graphic design

  • Attention to detail in design

  • Understand and embrace the vision and goals of St. Charles

  • The ability to adapt to a growing and evolving team 

  • The ability to work independently to meet deadlines 

  • Effective communication skills 

  • Proficient in online communicating  

Graphic Designer Bonus Qualifications (but not required): 

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field 

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop/Illustrator

  • Photography experience a plus

  • Proven experience working in a creative team environment to conceptualize ideas
