Lenten Collection Details
One of the many important activities of the St. Charles Social Concerns Committee (SCC) is to sponsor the Lenten Collections starting on Ash Wednesday and continuing through Holy Thursday. Parishioners can donate much-needed funding to the organizations supported by the SCC. 100% of your donation will support these agencies and directly benefit people most in need.
Receiving your support in 2025 through the Lenten Collections are:
March 5

Cash donations are needed. Additional needs are family-size food items, dry beans, rice, canned chili, and other canned goods, bread, peanut butter, jam, canned tuna, spam, canned chicken, and toiletries.March 8-9
1st Sunday of Lent

CASH is needed to support Culinary Angels, a new agency for Lenten Collections in 2023. They are a volunteer, donation-based organization that provides and delivers nutrient-rich meals free of charge and nutrition education to people going through a cancer challenge, as well as to their caregivers throughout the Tri-Valley area.March 15-16
