In-Person Mass Attendance (New Alternative!)

Dear St. Charles Family:

For the time being in Alameda County, we are no longer allowed to hold indoor church services. However, we have a new alternative to announce:

Although we will be suspending the Saturday Vigil Mass, for the time being, you may sign up for outdoor lawn seating during Sunday Morning's 9:30 am Mass. 

In the shaded area on the west side of the church, we will now set up socially-distanced chairs. There, parishioners will be able to watch our 9:30 AM live video on two 60" TVs. Those of you who have already signed-up for Sunday already have reserved seats. Others may make reservations by clicking on the sign-up button in the green section below.

Afterward, the 9:30 am group may receive communion by entering the west doors to the church and process through the building (as we've done for the past few weeks) and exit through the doors on the south side.

Meanwhile, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am (our new official time for communion), parishioners who did not attend in person may arrive to receive communion in the same manner by using the main entrance to the church.

Please note that the protocol we've used for indoor attendance (where everyone is to wear a mask and will have their temperature taken upon arrival) is still in place for those who will be seated outdoors.
