Fundraiser Details

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

Autumn is upon us again. I pray everyone and family enjoy this Fall! This is the time for our ST. CHARLES ANNUAL RAFFLE! As our one and only major fundraising event, I would like to enlist your usual and generous participation.

As in the past years, we have exciting and multiple prizes to award. There will be five (5) Third Prize winners; two (2) Second Prize winners; and one (1) First Prize winner!

Once again, there will be different levels in the prize amounts awarded. State law mandates that when non-profits hold a fundraiser, only 10% of the proceeds may be given away as prizes. So, we will not know the exact prize amounts until ticket sales are completed. For instance:

  • If $25,000 worth of tickets are purchased, we will award: five (5) Third Prizes of $100 each; two (2) Second Prizes of $500 each; one (1) First Prize of $1000;

  • If $30,000 worth of tickets are purchased, we will award: five (5) Third Prizes of $100 each; two (2) Second Prizes of $500 each; one (1) First Prize of $1500.

The draw of winners will be on Monday, November 22, 2021.

Please find enclosed for your use this year 15 raffle tickets. Each ticket cost is $10.00. You are welcome to purchase as many or as few as you want. If you wish to purchase additional tickets, they are available at the parish office.

Cost

$10.00 per ticket

We are accepting cash, check, or Tithe.ly payments (select: “Fall Raffle”).

Deadline

ALL paid raffle ticket(s) sent by mail, email, and/or in-person drop offs must be received by Sunday, Nov. 18.

Anything received after Nov. 18 will be refunded back to you.

Instructions

Step 1 — Fill out ticket template from your mailing or print out ticket template.

Step 2 — Return your ticket(s) & payment by mail, office drop-off, or via email at info@stcharlesborromeo.org.

Note: If using digital payment through Tithe.ly make sure names coordinate so tickets can be identified correctly.

If sending via email you can also make a note so it’s easier for us to identify payment & ticket.
